Meal prepping is one of the easiest ways to stay organized and have quick ready-to-go meals for you and your family when life seems to get a little busy. Meal prepping can be difficult but only if you make it that way. There are a ton of ways to make meal prepping for the week easier and stress-free. So, no longer fret about spending your entire Sunday in the kitchen meal prepping, and follow these tips to help take some of the load off.
Keep Recipes
If you are someone that does not want to eat the same thing every night, be sure to keep a backlog of recipes that you can refer to and pick a few to make for the week. This may take some time, but it will eliminate having to eat the same thing every single day!
Plan Your Meals
Part of meal prepping is planning what meals you are going to eat on certain days. Before heading to the store, write down the meals and recipes you have planned and make note of what ingredients you need. Not only will this help with indecisiveness, but it will help you save money at the store.
Invest in Your Kitchen
The more gadgets, the easier and less time meal prepping will take. There are a ton of Crockpot recipes you can meal prep with that can cook all day while you’re out and be ready when you get home. Some gadgets other than the crockpot that are useful are air fryers and Instant Pots.
Contain the Food
Make sure you are purchasing the right containers that will keep your food as fresh as possible throughout the week. It can be a real bummer when you get to Friday and the meal is bad and wasted because it was not in the right container.

Use Frozen Foods
Frozen foods will be your best friend because they stay fresh longer. Instead of using fresh fruit, try using frozen fruit for smoothies. Frozen foods can be easy to cook, and usually, they are already prepped so you just have to pop them in the oven!
