Support Big Brothers Big Sisters At These Spring Events

Organizations that help children are doing more than just giving back to their community. They help raise young men and women who will go on to be stable, productive members of society. That’s why it’s important to support groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region. Even if your busy schedule doesn’t allow you to take part in a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program, you can still lend your support by participating in events like Bowl for Kids’ Sake and Golf Fore Kids’ Sake.

Keep Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’

Big Brothers Big Sisters fosters quality one-on-one relationships between a vetted adult mentor and an at-risk child in order to have a positive influence and outcome in the child’s life. In the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Range organization, there are still 89 young people still waiting for an adult match, while there are 311 of these positive mentoring relationships going on right now. The organization recorded 50,000 volunteer hours in 2022, and Big Brothers Big Sisters relies on the funds raised by the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake to continue to fund the group’s programs. This is a fundraising effort that has gone on for 50 years now, and all proceeds will stay in New Mexico. There are four events throughout the region: Santa Fe (April 13, 15, 16), Espanola (April 22), Gallup (April 29) and Taos (May 6). Join a team today and help support this valuable community organization.
